The m.a.x. museum will host the exhibition materia, gesto, impronta, segno: the graphic work of Burri, Vedova, Kounellis, Paolucci and Benedetti, curated by Antonio d'Avossa and Nicoletta Ossanna Cavadini.  

The exhibition is part of the strand of 20th century masters, and proposes a vision of graphic and artistic research by five leading figures in 20th century culture: Alberto Burri, Emilio Vedova, Jannis Kounellis, Flavio Paolucci and Mario Benedetti.

The exhibition itinerary follows a thematic-chronological criterion, highlighting author by author the creative and research process of the graphic work, drawing and painting, and in some cases even sculpture, in an overall vision of approximately 150 works in small and large formats: for each of the protagonists, approximately 25 graphics are exhibited alongside a matrix, the primordial act of graphic art, and a work for which each artist is known to a vast public.
